2016/8/9 Messaging Apps & Languages Demo Video Available!

Dear Backers,
As mentioned in our prior update, we wanted to begin demonstrating many of the features you’ve been anticipating, in hopes of clarifying some of your questions, as well as highlighting some of the experiences you’ll have while using the Ticwatch.
We have filmed prior demos in the past (uploaded in our Facebook group), but we’ve heard feedback from many of you asking to share some content via Kickstarter's updates as well. Therefore, we will try to keep these videos relevant, and only upload those we believe many of you will actually be interested in seeing.
Today, we filmed a demo video that illustrates notifications received from multiple messaging apps, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, and others. In addition, we also wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the fact that most languages will be able to be displayed in your notifications.

2016/8/7 One Million Thank You! Greetings from Hardware Team

We have reached $1 million in total pledges! Thank you to all 5444 of you for supporting us in our campaign to bring the Ticwatch 2 to the world.
We want you to know that despite our success, everyone on the Ticwatch team is continuing to work hard to ensure that we are maintaining quality and managing logistics as more and more people pledge toward our campaign. We have not taken your support for granted and could not have done this without you, our backers.
We’ve been hearing a lot of excitement from many of you who have expressed that you can’t wait for the day the Ticwatch 2 ships out. Your excitement and anticipation for that day continues to drive us forward in ensuring solid logistical execution as we head into the third week of our campaign.

We are continuing to listen to your feedback, and will in the meantime, be sharing lots of content on functionality, design, and much more, in our Facebook group! The shipping day is still a while away, but you can join us vicariously, in the meanwhile, as we demonstrate and share with you many of the things you’ve been anticipating.

2016/8/3 Update #4 Special Guest Visit Today from Jide, the Remix Founders!

As we inch closer to the 1 Million mark, we are incredibly humbled by the confidence you have instilled in us. Nonetheless, we are also continuously working on ways in which we can improve our campaign.
Today, we are humbled yet again to welcome Jide, the Remix founders, to our office! Just a while ago, the Remix guys ran a tremendously successful Kickstarter campaign with the Remix Mini, and raised over $1.6 million in funding! As former ex-Googlers, Jide and Mobvoi go way back.
Our shared background manifests in our shared mindsets, that great technology companies prioritize user experience, care about their communities, and are technology-driven. They shared advice on things they learned along the way toward building their community…and we might have also discussed avenues for future collaboration. ;)
